[Edit]Born in Morocco but raised in the Bronx, French Montana made a name for himself thanks to the ultra-grimy crime-related lyricism showcased on his popular mixtape series, which includes several editions of Coke Boys, Coke Wave, and Mac & Cheese. On this collection, he teams with likeminded emcee Waka Flocka for 16 tracks co-hosted by DJ Drama and Green Lantern. As expected, it's dominated by plenty of illicit talk, all set to contagiously dark production. The duo's undeniable swagger and well-chosen collaborations (Slim Dunkin and Chinx Drugz costar on several joints) add up to an enjoyable listen.
