[Edit]Taking their name from a Disney-produced anti-Nazi cartoon, Education for Death come from the school of minimal punk that gave the world artists like Throwing Up, Tyvek, Nik Void, and Eddy Current Suppression Ring. Their self-titled debut EP offers up five rudimentary blasts of post-Fall punk, made up only of raw drums, guitar, and vocals. One-chord rockers like "No Sun" meet up with Krautrock-like repetition on "Emma" and hints of late-'70s downtown N.Y.C. no wave on frantic set closer "Devour."
