[Edit]Nice, sometimes delightful date with pianist Eddie Higgins. Rather than the customary keyboard/bass/drums lineup, he substituted guitarist Kevin Eubanks for a drummer and interacts with bassist Rufus Reid. The results are both satisfactory and revealing; the absence of a percussionist frees everyone to alternate between setting the beat and working off it.
