With the exception of "Stay Young," all of his chart-topping country hits from the '70s and '80s are here, including "Heartbeat in the Darkness," "Tulsa Time," "I Believe in You," "Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good," and "I Wouldn't Want to Live if You Didn't Want Me," his first number one from 1974. While not as generous as the 40-track Anthology set on Hip-O, it's convenient to have all his original hits on one disc.
