[Edit]DJ Spinna adds another gem to his impressive array of mix albums with The Beyond Real Experience, Vol. 2. The New York turntablist throws down tracks from his own hip-hop label, Beyond Real. Many of the same rappers show up continually in the mix: Old World Disorder, Shadowman, Guru, Skam, Mr. Akil, and Sadat X, all of whom make multiple appearances. Plus, Spinna throws in several tracks by his own rap group, Jigmastas. Most of the featured rappers are up-and-comers at this point in time, 2002, though it's great to see Guru and Sadat X here, two veterans from the early '90s. The mixing, of course, is unbelievable. Spinna not only showcases some of the best releases from his label; he also showcases some of his best turntablist techniques.
