As Disclosure, U.K. siblings Guy and Howard Lawrence work up a jubilant but sophisticated sweat via a seemingly endless supply of irresistible dance grooves and hook-laden synth riffs. But when they call on an impressive array of talented guest artists to fully flesh out the atmosphere of their debut album, Settle, things rise to another level entirely. Eclectic British singer/songwriter Eliza Doolittle adds a soulful tinge to the skittering beats of “You & Me,” while the electro-pop duo AlunaGeorge brings an intriguing air of idiosyncrasy to the bubbling, club-ready bliss of “White Noise” and Sam Smith sends the spacy but surging blips, bleeps, and bumps of “Latch” into heart-on-sleeve R&B territory. The party doesn’t stop on Settle, but it freely shifts gears.
