Daz Dillinger rounds up a few dozen of his West Coast gangsta rap colleagues for the double-disc Who Ride Wit Us: Tha Compilation, Vol. 1. There's no shortage of music here, just as there's no shortage of guests. Too bad the quality and consistency aren't quite on the same level. Regardless, there's plenty of value here, especially if you don't mind the underground aesthetic. Some of the more noteworthy guests are Too Short, E-40, Xzibit, Nate Dogg, Warren G, Snoop Dogg, MC Eiht, and C-Murder. As the subtitle reads, this is more of a compilation released by Daz's DPG label than it is a proper album.
