Tu y Yo is Grammy-winning David Bisbal's fifth studio full-length. Produced by Sebastian Krys, the set contains two chart-topping pre-release singles. The first is the much-acclaimed title track, which showcased the artist's wildly successful attempt at fusing Spanish pop and dubstep. "Diez Mil Maneras" weds bolero and Spanish pop in a midtempo romantic groover. "Mi Estrella de Cine" is a funky cumbia with its fat horns, swirling keyboards, and stinging guitars. The jazz dance-pop of "Hombre de Tu Vida" is a collaboration with Sandy, while Antonio Orozco duets with Bisbal on the throwback '80s rock groove of "Lo Que Vendrá." The other duet on this set is the shimmering "Olvidé Respirar," with the great India Martinez adding her earthy flamenco voice to a polished, summery love song with an irresistible chorus. Another real standout on the date that reveals Bisbal's crossover appeal is "Si Aún Te Quieres Quedar," which displays the Spanish singer melding romantic pop and soul in a Rhodes- and string-driven bolero that becomes nearly anthemic in its closing choruses.
