Details
[Edit]Daria shows off her versatility throughout this diverse set, with each selection being radically different than the one before. She displays expertise on the standard "All or Nothing at All," some world music, a Latin jazz piece, Cream's "Sunshine of Your Love" and the 7/4 "Feel the Rhythm," and those are only the first five selections. The music crosses many stylistic boundaries but Daria excels in each setting. It is also nice to hear some spots for Marc Russo, the former saxophonist with the Yellowjackets, on alto and soprano. The charming closer, "Dreams of a Tango" (with Rich Kuhns on the bandoneon), is one of the high points of this excellent release.
