One of hip-hop's most universally respected crews, D.I.T.C. is a coalition of New York emcees and producers who've dropped countless classics as solo artists and as a group. Comprising Show & AG, Diamond D, Lord Finesse, OC, Fat Joe, Buckwild, and the late great Big L, D.I.T.C. helped define the NYC sound throughout the '90s, and although the crew never earned the same commercial recognition as peers like Biggie, Nas, and Wu-Tang, serious heads around the world still consider D.I.T.C. an untouchable rap supergroup. This 2007 compilation gathers some of its best-loved singles, jumping off with mid-era favorites like "Day One" and "Internationally Known." We also get dope features from affiliated players like Freddie Foxxx ("I Come 2 War"), Milano ("Deal with a Feelin"), and Big Pun ("Best Behavior"). Whether you've been down with the team since the old days or are just now getting turned on to its grimy yet funk-driven steez, this is a crucial collection that only gets better with time.
