[Edit]Coti is now an established artist in his own right, but he started off as a professional songwriter and producer. For his latest album, Lo Dije por Boca de Otro, Coti finally decided to offer his own versions of songs that he wrote and became hits for other artists, such as Diego Torres ("Color Esperanza"), Julieta Venegas ("Algo Está Cambiando"), Los Enanitos Verdes ("Luz de Día"), Paulina Rubio ("Te Quise Tanto"), and Enrique Iglesias ("¿Dónde Están Corazón?"). The latter is also one of the three special guests on this record, together with Fito Páez and Dani Martín. As usual, Coti produced, arranged, sang, and played most instruments on the album.
