[Edit]Mi Universo, the new studio album by Cooper, the Spanish indie pop group of former Los Flechazos leader Álex Díez Garín, was recorded at London's legendary Konk Studios — and it's easy to understand why. Garín remains typically and lovingly fixated on '60s British pop music and all of its successive incarnations, from the Beatles and the Kinks to Elvis Costello, Teenage Fanclub, and the Stone Roses, as eloquently demonstrated by these ten new songs of ringing guitars, vocal harmonies, and wistful lyrics.
