Details
[Edit]Hugely successful over multiple decades, Chicago have weathered various personnel shakeups and sea changes in the music industry, but continue to tour relentlessly, bringing their massive catalog of classic hits to adoring audiences around the globe. After more than 40 years as a group, five #1 albums, and over 20 Top Ten singles, they've got no shortage of material to cull from, though surprisingly, this collection only features seven tracks. While technically impossible to capture all the energy of a Chicago concert, this mix does a good job of it, kicking things off with two of their best and most-loved tunes, "25 or 6 to 4" and "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is." They're all getting up there in years, but still have the chops to pull it off, unleashing their trademark mix of rock, funk, jazz, and smooth balladry, and showcasing their always on-point horn section.
