This LP was not only Charlie Barnet's final recording before he retired but is also the last album that veteran altoist Willie Smith ever made. With arrangements for the orchestra from Billy Byers and Bill Holman, solos by Barnet (on alto and soprano), Smith, pianist Jack Wilson and trumpeter Conte Candoli, and a fine Ruth Price vocal on "Something to Live For," this set wraps up Charlie Barnet's 32-year recording career quite nicely.
