[Edit]"Da Da Da" isn't much of a song, but that doesn't mean that it isn't catchy. It's not much more than a simple, campy synthesizer and voice riff, but its irreverent humor and silly beat sticks in your head. Which, of course, is the reason why Volkswagen used the song in its 1997 advertising campaign, and it is also the reason why the song became an unexpected hit that year, 15 years after "Da Da Da" was originally released. To cash in on its success, the Da Da Da compilation was assembled. Featuring highlights from the German group's two albums, Trio & Error and Bye Bye, Da Da Da is filled with similarly catchy Eurotrash, and while nothing else is quite as memorable as the title track, it's still good fun, especially for obsessive New Wave collectors.
