[Edit]In his middle age, Cam’ron has adopted a slower and more wearied flow, which doesn’t mean his rhymes are any less effective than they used to be. On the contrary, the drawl with which he delivers these crisscrossing rhymes only serves to enhance the thunderous beats of Gunz ‘N Butta. Besides, Cam now employs his younger protégé Vado to supply the voraciousness of youth. Nimble and malevolent, “Speakin in Tungs,” “F***-A-Freestyle,” and “We All Up in Here” are as emblematic of New York City hip-hop as any of the recordings Cam made in his late-'90s prime.
