A legendary rapper from Port Arthur, Texas, Bun B started his career in the late '80s, alongside longtime partner Pimp C, as the groundbreaking duo UGK (Underground Kings). One of the South's earliest, best, and longest-lasting groups, they would release nine albums between 1992 and 2009, despite Pimp C's untimely death in 2007. Bun B was hugely influential to countless artists from coast to coast, and he remains one of the busiest emcees in the game: collaborating with many rappers, grinding in the studio and on the road, and even working as a guest lecturer at Rice University. Trill OG: The Epilogue is his fourth solo album (following Trill, II Trill, and Trill OG). It finds him staying in his lane, continuing to display the smooth, hustler-friendly style he's been rocking since day one. Made up mostly of leftover songs from his last effort, it still sounds great, full of gooey basslines and ice-cold verses, along with features from Pimp C, Devin the Dude, Big K.R.I.T., Rick Ross, Lil Boosie, Z-Ro, Raekwon, and more. Check out "Cake," "On One," "Don't Play with Me," and "The Legendary DJ Screw."
