With the addition of guitarist Paul Carbonara and bassist Leigh Foxx to the original quartet, Blondie run through their catalog of hits with the passion of a group that had reformed for a reason. Their 1999 album No Exit presented a very different, inspired group in the studio, but on stage they were determined to give the fans what they wanted. The new songs “Screaming Skin,” “Forgive and Forget,” “Maria,” “Under the Gun,” and “No Exit” fit nicely next to the expected tunes like “Dreaming,” “Call Me,” “Rapture,” “Heart of Glass,” and their cover of The Nerves’ “Hanging on the Telephone.” Songs like “Atomic,” “Rip Her to Shreds,” and “X Offender” (which had been their debut single back in the mid-'70s) further the realization that Blondie are one of the great pop-rock bands of the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s. The songs were recorded throughout the 1998/99 tour. The live version of “One Way or Another” fades out for the finale.
