[Edit]More, "El Barbaro del Ritmo," is venerated by buffs of the '50s Cuban sound. Like New York's Tito Rodriguez, he was not only a dynamic sonero but a fine bolero singer. He's perhaps the only Latin singer to have had an entire book written about him.
