[Edit]A popular actress, dancer, and singer in Spain and France, Beatriz Luengo moved to Miami, signed with Sony U.S. Latin, and now appears focused on the U.S. and Latin American markets. Produced by Orishas' Yotuel Romero and Andrés Levin, Bela y Sus Moskitas Muertas is Luengo's fourth solo album and her calling card into the Latin pop world. Arguably Luengo's strongest effort to date, this record is a surprisingly eclectic collection of sunny pop tunes with strong influences from both reggae (as in the first single, "Como Tú No Hay 2") and Spanish female hip-hop acts such as La Shica and Mala Rodríguez. It also features duets with Reik's Jesús Navarro and Ziggy Marley, as well as a beautiful acoustic Spanish adaptation of Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody."
