It would be nearly impossible to make an Astrud Gilberto collection and not include "The Girl From Ipanema," the song that made her famous, on it, and Verve's To Go: Stick It in Your Ear is no exception. In fact, all of the tracks on the album are good representations of Gilberto's clear yet wavering voice. The only problem is that the compilation only has six songs (three in English and three in Portuguese), which means that despite the quality of music on To Go, its length leaves a little to be desired. Better to cough up a few extra bucks and get something that has a little more, and is more satisfying in the long run.
