[Edit]Spirit of the People is jazz and cultural fusion, mixing musicians from many ethnic heritages into a vibrant style all their own. The music is based on powerful Asian rhythmic structures called "bols" integrated with Western melodies and styles. Javanese gamelan intertwines with the threads of traditional Indian rhythms and Western jazz. This release vibrates with the beat of the people, using percussion, guitar, synthesizer harp and mandolin to create a crossroad of cultural blends.
