[Edit]Art Farmer and his future Jazztet partner Benny Golson join forces on this long unavailable LP. Golson's well-crafted arrangements back Farmer's superb solos with flair. The supporting cast is a strong one with Curtis Fuller, Jimmy Cleveland, Lee Morgan, Ernie Royal and Julius Watkins. Highlights include "Nica's Dream," "Moanin'," and Golson's "Five Spot After Dark." Overdue for reissue on CD.
