[Edit]Italian for “Revenge is a dish best served cold,” La Vendetta… marks another credible display of punk rock greatness from one of Southern California’s most deserving early-‘80s punk bands. Formed by early members of Agent Orange and Social Distortion, The Adolescents were always a cut above their peers, though they had a difficult time staying together. The number of past band members is staggering. On this release, only original singer Tony Cadena and bassist Steve Soto remain. But in the past decade, they’ve released several albums. At 16 tracks, all fast and furious, La Vendetta deserves to be heard by all punks: young, old, and older still.
